Since leaving school I have wanted to work with animals, I went to college to study animal care but I found an interest in dog grooming, so I completed an intense dog grooming course and then went on to start my own dog grooming business in 2012.

After taking a short break from grooming I then applied to Highwood and have worked here since May 2022, I have also just completed my first aid course for both humans and animals.

I currently have two cockatiel birds but sadly I don't have any dogs. But I would love a German Shepard Dog in the future.

My favourite part of the job is seeing how happy the dogs are to be here and also speaking to customers about their dogs.
