I started working at Highwood in March 2022 and haven’t looked back since. I absolutely love getting to know everyone’s dogs and all of their little quirks. It’s a very rewarding job being able to look after someone’s precious fur baby!

The best part of the job is definitely when we have a nervous guest staying with us and we start to see them settling in and coming out of their shell; it’s so lovely to see!

I could name a few of my favourite breeds but I love Jack Russell’s and Spaniels the most. Especially with having two Jack Russell’s myself! I also absolutely adore when little puppies come and stay at Highwood, they have my heart!

I am currently studying for a Level 4 accredited Advanced Canine Behaviour Diploma and I am trained in both dog and human first aid.
